Nah, that's just what he chooses to GIVE you. He even said that in the interview. The thing is, other rappers essentially have a persona (which is probably fake) so people assume they are more interesting to talk to.

Yeah you'd think Future would be a interview but he worse than Cole when it comes to not giving you anything,but his rap persona is so....I don't know how jcole manages to not have the rap persona you speak of or be really interesting outside of the booth and still manage to do the numbers he do....people must really believe in his music and believe hell deliver a quality product....he ain't a horrible interview just "regular" everything about dude is regular but he doin these numbers

when u got good music thats all that matters, when your music dont really connect wit people on a person level thats when that great persona is needed, some people have both, some people have one or the other
