In Dallas, From Cleveland
Love Yourz > I

Songs have similar themes, but I think Love Yourz resonated with me more....

But if the albums are in the same vein I have no problem with that. If you can have 20 rappers talking about "trapping" I think you can have 2 - 3 rappers talking about uplifting black people :ld:

Stupidest shyt I've heard in a while.. 1st off Cole has always been in the conscious/uplifting lane of Hip Hop. That is why Cole & K Dot are even talking about working on a collaborative album. 2nd as someone already mentioned, there are dozens of rappers talking about money, cars, clothes, etc. but Cole and Kendrick cannot co-exist w/out conspiracy theories? Limit non-materialistic rap to one artist/album per year brehs :aicmon:

Nah this is completely wrong..If he wanted to "steal" Kendrick album he would have done it on Born Sinner.

this is just a rare case of an artist growing right before our eyes..he focused on his craft and this is the result.

like that other dude said in the other thread..his best yet to come.

Does it matter? Now we have this album, Wales will probably be similar in themes, so will Lupe, then Kendrick I'd say that's balance to all the people complaining about the lack of it in rap.

Coles always made songs like these, I don't think he stole anything from Kendrick. From the interviews it's seems like he's comfortable speaking his mind now cause he has already proven himself as a successful rapper. Still not all the way comfortable but I wonder if in the future he's going to go all the way with it and becoming more exclusive.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
This is stupid..Cole has always talked about this kinda shyt...it's just that he's gotten more mature with his delivery...Lol @ stole Kendricks album..nikkas really need to hop of Kendrick nuts like he the first to write conscious rap..funny thing about Kendrick vs Cole is that Cole comes with more broad conscious rap perspective than Kendrick...Kendrick is more about his specific life experiences in his neighborhood and what he took from that...Kendrick don't got shyt in the vein of "Be Free" ...
