I'll give it another few spins, on first listen it was solid.
Nothing really jumped out at me but a good smooth listen.

This is definitely a good album and JID is obviously a great rapper but I was hoping for and expecting an indisputable classic.
JIDs biggest problem to me is that even after all this time I have very little concept of who he is. The most interesting rappers have a compelling story and persona to their music.

I think he got into a lot of personal/family type shyt and his upbringing on the last album, personal classic for me.

It’s like he has the rapping ability to be one of the greats but his song making abilities aren’t there theres some fire here though he just needs the right guidance how to structure a song etc
