Finished it, off first listen I'm really liking this 
He did his thing, nice varied sounds, no bad tracks to me.

He's spitting for sure but how do y'all get past the Kendrick similarities? Sounds like a poor man's, when the real deal is still around and killing it. Or is that a surface thing and once you listen to the album he separates himself?

cuz the subject matter is entirely different than kendricks. i see the similarities you speak of, but he is rhyming about things kendrick never touches and doing it well.
Gotcha. To be fair I only heard "Never" and it sounds like some Desiigner to Future shyt for K Dot. Will give the whole project a listen though. Anything with the Dreamville stamp I usually at least check out
i'm by no means saying it's some powerful subject matter either. i just feel like kendrick is much safer/sanitized than this guy.
also the production is really good like all dreamville projects.
