The Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday resigned veteran swingman James Jones, who's played with LeBron for the past six seasons, winning three championships, including two in Miami.
...
The deal reportedly is one year for $1.55 million.

Jones, who turns 36 in November, didn't play much last season, averaging 3.7 points in 9.6 minutes, but LeBron and the Cavs value his leadership, and he's a career 39.8 percent 3-point shooter. He's also played in 140 career playoff games.

Cavs bring back LeBron's 'greatest teammate of all time'

I'm amused by James Jones' career ever since Bomani pointed out that James Jones is from Miami, played for the University of Miami, before he eventually ended up playing for the Heat. Dude lucked into sticking around when LeBron and co. came through and once he won those rings, he basically just said, "This is home, but fukk it...where to next, LeBron?" :yeshrug:

Ends up getting another ring in Cleveland just chilling out on the bench, getting a little clock here & there. Got Bron and Love calling him the greatest teammate they ever played with. Can't knock the hustle. :ehh:
