According to a Kickstarter page posted this week, J.R. Smith wants to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at his life — but first the project needs some help.
David Field, the producer and creator of the project, posted a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for the show, which will give fans a scripted behind-the-scenes look at the Cavaliers’ guard’s life, family and bodyguard “Boom”.
“We’ve already shot a pilot episode, which a portion of can be seen here as our project video, and the entire pilot episode will be posted at Teamswish.com very soon!” Field wrote on the Kickstarter. “JR, his bodyguard and family are dedicated to opening their lives up to the show, to give viewers an in-depth look to this truly heart-warming American family.”
For $10,000 pledged on the Kickstarter, fans can have a speaking role in the show. For $2500, a walk-on role.
