I used to talk so much shyt to two of my teammates to bait them into playing me two vs 1 Was just coming off a stress fracture and my knee was finally stronger from swimming. Breh was a smoker too. I worked too damn hard on cardio. I wasn't even gonna let them win. During games I studied each person to see if i was gonna go over them, through them or round them. I studied how and when they got tired. Some guys i'd cut so much pointlessly just to wear them down so they too tired in the clutch. Some i knew this guy if he realizes you are contributing too much he'll compete harder. Others if you step on them hard early and expend your energy early they'll quit without realizing it's not sustainable. Team sports funny as hell.

Teammates will have running friction for years let alone in one season. So expecting him to be ready to fight Ja every and any time he’s upset isn’t logical. Especially considering Vince Williams is a 2nd round pick with one foot in the league one foot with the Guandong Tigers. It’s in his best interest to NOT fight Ja.

But, again, whatever escalated it to a fight could have happened on the court.

If something happened on the court that made you mad enough to fight about it, then fight right there. If you don’t want to fight right there then wait to practice is over and you both go back to the locker room. Everything else is just performative.

Exactly. What kind of enabling ass behavior is that. Instead of holding Ja accountable and telling him to act like an adult instead he's saying "how dare y'all film him acting like an idiot once again".

Ja definitely didn't want smoke. For one he know the other dude can't afford to risk suspension and risk missing some checks with him being a fringe player. So of course dude won't swing on him in the middle of the court with cameras around. All players have talked about when there is real smoke you go in the back and handle your business and then keep it moving.

Dennis Schroeder just got suspended for slapping Luca in the tunnel. No cameras, no “meet me in the tunnel” He waited for Luka and did what he wanted. Acting like he wouldn’t get suspended for fighting in the locker room just doesn’t make sense. He approached ja with the intention to fight but didn’t do anything. Ja stood in his face and called his bluff. There’s only one person that didn’t want to fight in that scenario.
