His parents have lived with him since he was signed to the NBA. His father gave up his pro basketball career overseas to be a father. His dad also built a court to train him (and other kids in the neighborhood) in his backyard. This is his first time Ja is living away from his parents his whole life.
Plus he just signed a quarter billion dollar contract. And considering how much of a superstar he is, I wouldn't be shocked if he had them include the mansion for his parents as part of the deal as an incentive (make the playoffs, become an all-star, make All NBA, etc.).
If you watch Ja Morants interviews he always says his dream is also his dads dream since his pops sacrificed for him to be there.
