OT but I remember a friend got us on stage (I wasn’t rapping just working with them) as an opening act…I can’t remember the event/venue it was outdoors at a college in CT…the “sea of people” phrase triggered this post cuz that’s what it was…a sea of white ppl…all I saw was white college kids for as far as my eyes could see…problem was we had NO name and were opening for a rock band…muthafukkas started booing and throwing beer bottles at us…we got off that stage IMMEDIATELY :mjlol:

TBH, people only hated Ja Rule because 50 Cent and Eminem told them to do so :sas2:

Once people got out of the Shady/Aftermath/ Gunit propaganda machine and thought for themselves, they realized that they made a mistake.

The rap game today have 90% rappers that are tatted up and singing (badly) through autotune. So why hate Ja Rule for that?

In Da 15th
Not surprised.

Ja Rule had hits for days & more hits than Nelly & 50cent (I’m a 50cent fan). He just never had a megahit like “In Da Club”.

There was a 3-5yr span where Ja Rule just dominated everything with bangers non-stop.

So, he’s always gonna do big shows outside the US.

This shyt is true. When I use to go work in Czech republic they would be playing his hit songs from back in the day. I will never forget riding around Bruno in the Czech and seeing a Wu Tang graffiti sign tagged on a building.

Folks overseas love and I mean love American music. They don't care what ignorant folks say on twitter.
