Black men, I highly urge you to be on code for this. Jack Harlow is a threat to our existence. That's right. Jack Harlow has mastered what's taken white boys centuries to accomplish.... Being as cool or even cooler than some black men.

Hip-Hop has been the black man's bread and butter for decades. Our chance to reach the 1 percent through our stories and passion. White boys have entered the realm before (Eminem, Vanilla Ice, Beastie Boys, House Of Pain, etc), but they've never had that true "je ne sais quoi" to appeal to black folks without us feeling like we're just giving them props for any type of effort instead of actual charisma.
Let's be real, the only white rapper that actually appealed to black people (discounting Eminem, who's practically pushed onto everyone via the interscope machine) was Paul Wall. But that man makes more money outside of music than doing it, so more power to him. Point is, white rappers can appeal to a white audience, or a black audience... But never both the way Jack Harlow has.
Now here's why it affects you, black man.
You know these "pawgs" and "snow bunnies" that you're always sweating? Deep down, if they could have a white boy with the swagger of a "Fabolous"-esque black man, they would scoop him in a heartbeat. Look how hard women go for Fez from Euphoria....
Think about it. These bunnies don't have to worry about bringing white chocolate Arnold home to meet their parents. They don't have to carry any stigmas that come with swirling. They're free from society's chokehold on them. They don't have to worry about the "struggle" their kids would have to go through if they were half black. It's like how some c00ns like black women features better on non-black women (i.e. Pawgs, Kylie Jenner lips, etc).
Jack Harlow will influence a new generational wave of cool white boys that will get more push in hip-hop spaces, will have more sponsors since they're more marketable to the country/world and generally "safe" to do business with. And with the rise of gun violence destroying the country, the image of black men pointing guns and drill music will have society completely turn it's back on us (if it hasn't already). The Jack Harlow's and G-Eazy's will take our place in one of the last few spaces we dominate in. Picture all those IG girls you lust over being taken by a white boy with more drip than you cuz he learned from Jack Harlow.
