Alibaba makes money and is more legit than something like those paper plants that claimed to do $100M in production and distribution a year but had a facility that couldn't even do $5M a year, but it's still mostly bullshyt IMO.

Do you really think China can make such investments, erase 100s of million people from poverty, create most millionaires and all that shyt on some scam that no one can see?

Yes GDP-numbers etc are artificial, but even when you get external estimates on average they've been close to the official artificial ones that they report.
