brettt ratner talkied about how on rush hour one jackie was trying to tell them how to edit the fight scenes but they wasnt trying to hear him
so jackie was like you edit the the fight your way and ill edit it my way. they showed brett the two versions and jackies was way better
so in rush hour 2 he had jackie in charge of editing the fights

Also I wish some studio would buy the rights to all of jackie chan's old movies and release them complete and remastered, I've bought what I could but it's a bytch cause some of them were released here dubbed only with scenes missing and shyt and half of his old piff wasn't ever released statewide. Prolly will never happen tho
