Watched this documentary yesterday. Pretty good, it's abotu how Mississippi Republicans are using all kinds of backdoor tricks to make abortion really hard to get access to; especially for poor women. This is a great old school documentary where they let the subjects do the talking.

There were 3 basic sides they showed. The poor black women who can't get access to birth control and abortions, the people working in abortion clinics, and the Conservatives waging all out war to stop abortions. Of course, you knwo what happens when Becky gets knocked up. Ma and Pa will get it "taken care off" and have their girl on the pill in a minute.

If you've never had the change to spend time in Jackson, Mississippi I suggest you don't.

I did last year for a few days and :scust:.

fukking babalu is their goto restaurant. :dwillhuh:

But seriously, that place is a time capsule in a lot of ways. There's some interesting history, still a lot of segregation, and more than I really feel like going into now that I've started talking about.
