Jalen Hurt really got the passing profile of a running back with the occasional trick play flea flicker

People gotta stop trying to discredit Jalen Hurts.
He may not put up gaudy numbers but he's not gonna be the reason you lose the game.
Does he benefit from talent around him, yes. So do plenty of other QBs.
It's cliche as hell but Hurts is a winner.

Jalen Hurts also was a late season injury away from potentially winning league MVP. This was before Saquon Barkley got there too.
We've seen him outplay Mahomes twice in the Super Bowl. Give that man his props.
Said this in the game thread.

Let me say this....

Jalen Hurts is the most improved QB I've probably ever seen. College to Pro...which is largely an impossible thing to do.

He put up mass numbers in his year at OU, but those stats were deceiving unless you watched the games. He couldn't hit a deep ball accurately for squat and his yards were ALL 10-12 yd passes in the air, and YAC to Lamb and other receivers we had.

To see what he has become in the NFL is a shock to me.
