I’m also neutral. When you compare him to another player like Brock Purdy (who also had a star studded cast), Hurts got it done and has won consistently. Came that close to winning two Super Bowls because he actually outplayed Mahomes in that first matchup.is she though? Seems most the complaints are the numbers Jalen puts up with an all star cast. When you compare him to another player from his draft class like Justin Herbert, people forget Herbert had some talent on some of those earlier Chargers teams, but everyone blamed the coach (probably justifiably) but Herbert choked that playoff game when they were up 4 TDs to the Jags.

Just to put it in proper context.....yall are calling Jalen a game manager.....that's like Trent Dilfer playing Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger and having 300 yard games, with 3 TDs, and 50 rushing yards everytime he played those elite guys. Dilfer never came close to doing that stuff, and if he did, he would've been respected.

Yea. Jalen isn't Mahomes. I have him top 5, top 6. Mahomes is above everyone. Then Allen, Lamar, Burrow, and Hurts.
But I give Hurts alot of credit because those three dudes act like they're scared of Mahomes/Kansas City. Hurts is the only one who has beaten them regularly.

When people balk at putting Jalen in certain conversations, they are calling him trash.
The man has beaten the best of the best...Mahomes / Allen / Lamar...and yall dudes are struggling to say he's better than guys like CJ Stroud, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love. That is extreme disrespect. Those dudes didn't go toe to toe with Prime Kansas City, Prime Mahomes, and win a Super Bowl. Them nikkas struggling to beat middle of the pack teams.
This is the same man who was the runner up for the Hiesman the season after he lost his starting job to Tua (remember when Tua was supposed to be better)? You're not going to convince me that its a coincidence and luck that he's had consistent playoff runs & is a Super Bowl champion.
