Shady McCoy, eagles hall of famer who has connections to the eagles org speaks on it. He said the problem is Hurts isnt capable of doing different formations, exotic looks, and motions.

Shady is right....he plays too safe. But his OC is another problem. Their OL isn't is good as the last season.

OL isnt as good as last season but it's been holding up fine for the pass game. The issue is Hurts. He leaves clean/perfect pockets. He did it several times last night. Leaves a clean pocket and rolls to the right for no reason. Brady mentioned it a couple times in the broadcast and said when he rolls right like that he cuts off half the field.

Ur right...he does leave clean pockets at times and roll to the right. He does need to fine tune his pass game. As they get older, his athleticism is going to decline.

Also there gonna be times where he needs to put the team on his back and win passing. Like Shady said...last year they had big holes for the RB to run thru and they didn't have that this year. Jalen needs to adjust better with that by winning via passing.

I will give him credit...he did shine in bight lights (both superbowls and the NFC Championship game last year) whereas some don't shine.

Also he did do well with Shane Stichen...but Shane does well with quarterbacks with mobility like Daniel Jones first half of the season. One reason why Colts struggled 2nd half is due to his injuries preventing his mobility and they didn't make teams pay for focusing on Johnathan Taylor.

No, that isn't the only thing that matters. Just look at how pedestrian their offense was looking in those wins. I didn't have the Eagles going far for the simple fact the offense looked terrible a lot of the season

That's hard for a TERRIBLE quarterback to do, let alone a so-called "elite" one

I've seen him struggle to put up 150 yds.

There's nothing wrong with being a game manager. Hurts and his fans should embrace that.

Zero passing yards in a half in good weather is diabolical and I'm almost certain receivers were open, but AJ Brown is supposed to "shut up" because they are winning.

That mentality has them sitting at home. Secondaries were supposed to fear/game plan for AJ and Smith. The way the offense looked most of the season, defenses didn't really have to worry about what should've been a sure fire strength for Philly
