You could be right but the last true freshman Sooners started was Troy Aikman.

Why would he stay, he ain't beating out Rattler. That nikka looked like he had the juice. Watson did that at Clemson and poor QB stayed till it was too late.
Teams are starting to sign low level 3 stars who will have to redshirt at Troy or Idaho to big schools who just want to be at OU so they can at least have someone. No one wants to be the backup no more. Kendall seen the writing on the wall
