Why does every other nation have a leadw who speaks like a leader except us?
Talking do not actually get things done. Gangsta sh1t does. Who tf fukk is Jamaica anyways? They should nationalize their beaches and mind the business that pays them.

Nah, Jamaican people not going to bow to a leader like Cuba did. Dictatorship isn't in a yardie blood, and the mere thought of food rations would cause a Revolution. Fidel Castro was deathly afraid of Jamaica because he knew that Jamaicans are not tolerant of a dictatorship like government.
The elephant in the room is we have a weird relationship with American Capitalism which really hurts the country long term. We love to do this whole "fight the power" wrey wrey worry business but worship the system. The island is ran by the wealthy pale Jamaicans and you never hear a word about them.

It's funny how Cuba is the largest but safest island in the Caribbean, all their problems would be solved if a certain country lifted the sanctions.
They would have turned into Haiti if they did. Jamaicans don't do well with authority period.
When I was younger I believed that but as a man, I realized how much of a lie that is.

As time goes by we lose more and more access to our own beaches, and just hit the:manny: . These pale Jewish/Arab/white idk what they are — Jamaicans run the island and I promise you, we have more smoke for some silly shyt then the ruling class.

Jamaica's already a wild island for Jamaicans, this system they have in place isn't helping the people or the island.

Jamaica is far from the only country that deals with this though. The truth is, a lot of these island nations depend on the almost parasitic relationship with big players in the West

That was not my point. The ability to ger across complex ideas in a coherent manner is my point. I'm not saying anything about his policies. Listening to Mexico's of Canada's president is a welcome relief.

Left leaning politics have been under attack since the 70s. The only politician (Roy Mcgann) to murdered in Jamaica's history was a leftist. The Observor is owned by the Stewart family (cacs) and the TVJ/Gleaner are ran by a Matalon (sand cac). News media in the nation won't ever table discussions that call out class dynamics, racial wealth inequality and non-white hegemony on the island in any meaningful way. That bullshyt motto of "Out of Many One People" is another thing impedes class solidarity among the Black masses. So many Black Jamaican's have it in their minds that they two will be rich one day and will be able to surmount the methodically placed obstacles in their paths.

3/5ths of the Jamaican economy is owned by the top 10% of the island (90% of that is non-Black, biracial or mixed), non-Blacks are disproportionately represented in the private sector (our cultural productions, be it cuisine or entertainment are owned and run by overwhelmingly non-Black people), 600,000+ Jamaican's are food insecure (we both know makes up most, if not all of this stat), Jamaica ranks somewhere in the top 5 of countries in the world for brain drain (we know who makes up all of that). Not to mention the prime minister recently reformed a racist colonial law that impeded Black land ownership on the island. So all of the glaring examples are there, but these non-Black groups maintain their class position through diversionary media, police repression, anti-Black beliefs established through the persistent betrayal displayed by Black politicians who put their race secondary to their social class.

Having smoke for the ruling class gets you murdered in Jamaica just look at when Richard Ramdial got murdered.
