the USFL were not a rival league to the NFL. They never sold out stadiums, outside of NYC, and had smaller budgets than the NFL. "Be serious" is not a sufficient counter-argument.
Look at this list of teams in the league and look how often teams either moved, folded, or merged

This was not a serious competitor to the NFL.
And you still havent explained what is a bad turn. The NFL has contracts with corporations and TV for many years to come. What is a "bad turn"?
And yes, the NFL does have the cash on hand to pay those players. I dont think you understand how credit works too.
I secure lines of credit I know what I'm talking about, somebody like Jerry Jones has a huge credit line, you think he is using his actually money
your fukking insane.
He probably gives hard money loans out using his own line of credit at high interest rates so it basically pays for itself
They were competitors in the sense that had Star Players who opted to go with them instead of NFL, if Trump and likes weren't idiots they could have caused serious problems for the NFL.
Nothing is written in a stone, attendance can go down, revenue can slow up, I'm not saying that it will I'm saying that it can
NFL is a week to week business, they pay their players has they make money, nothing is full proof
Who thought the Banks would fail, or Ford would need a bail out, even the NBA was trying to get one
You don't understand the stress and the do or die stakes that are on the line when doing big business
shyt could go belly up real quick, I'm saying that it will but it is a possibility
