the USFL were not a rival league to the NFL. They never sold out stadiums, outside of NYC, and had smaller budgets than the NFL. "Be serious" is not a sufficient counter-argument.
Look at this list of teams in the league and look how often teams either moved, folded, or merged

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Football_League#Teams

This was not a serious competitor to the NFL.

And you still havent explained what is a bad turn. The NFL has contracts with corporations and TV for many years to come. What is a "bad turn"?

And yes, the NFL does have the cash on hand to pay those players. I dont think you understand how credit works too.

I secure lines of credit I know what I'm talking about, somebody like Jerry Jones has a huge credit line, you think he is using his actually money
your fukking insane.
He probably gives hard money loans out using his own line of credit at high interest rates so it basically pays for itself

They were competitors in the sense that had Star Players who opted to go with them instead of NFL, if Trump and likes weren't idiots they could have caused serious problems for the NFL.

Nothing is written in a stone, attendance can go down, revenue can slow up, I'm not saying that it will I'm saying that it can

NFL is a week to week business, they pay their players has they make money, nothing is full proof
Who thought the Banks would fail, or Ford would need a bail out, even the NBA was trying to get one

You don't understand the stress and the do or die stakes that are on the line when doing big business
shyt could go belly up real quick, I'm saying that it will but it is a possibility

ok, you understand a little bit. Why do you think someone like Jerry Jones has a huge credit line. To help you its because he has a lot of_________________.

They were competitors in the sense that had Star Players who opted to go with them instead of NFL, if Trump and likes weren't idiots they could have caused serious problems for the NFL.
no established star player ever opted to leave the NFL for the USFL. What the USFL did was sign top college players by paying them a lot more money than the NFL were offering. That doesnt mean they were competitive, and that business practice is what eventually led to their downfall.

Nothing is written in a stone, attendance can go down, revenue can slow up, I'm not saying that it will I'm saying that it can
NFL attendance and TV ratings have gone down the last decade, yet they still get more money in TV contracts and sponsorship deals.

NFL is a week to week business, they pay their players has they make money, nothing is full proof
the NFL is not a week to week business. You can keep repeating this and it doesnt make it any true.

Who thought the Banks would fail, or Ford would need a bail out, even the NBA was trying to get one
a lot of people predicted the banks to fail, and Ford and GM had been losers for decades.

You don't understand the stress and the do or die stakes that are on the line when doing big business
shyt could go belly up real quick, I'm saying that it will but it is a possibility
friend, I dont think you know what you are talking about.

friend, I dont think you know what you are talking about.

Show me one of these contracts from TV and Sponsorship deals? We all know they have them, but you do not what they entail so don't bring it up.
I'm not talking about in the inner workings of the NFL because I'm not an executive or one of their lawyers so I won't pretend to be.
I'm talking about the business structure which is not i

A lot people predicted the banks to fail when all the damage had been done, not prior, be serious man, I was in the loan business
shyt I got 3 1 million dollars homes in my name without even proving my income, that's how easy it was man. I was only 21 years old, nobody gave a fukk, people were eating ridiculously 2000-6, probably before that. I wish I got a line of credit back then instead of sucking equity out of real estate, I'd be fukking rich right now.

The owners of Ford and GM are not losers, they were never endangered in going broke, but what was once a sure fire thing went UNDER, which can happen to the NFL or any other business thats just a fact of life.

The talent pool is for the PROS is the college game you moron, Walker and Young, Kelly were all big dogs before being pros.

You don't work for the NFL you're just assuming everything is smooth sailing, I guarantee you they go through crisis and near meltdowns every other year

NFL is a week to week business, why you think their trying to add more games to the season
