But if @C.Holla is gonna say that Lovie is the perfect coach for Jameis, I wanna know why. Being a former defensive coordinator with a bad defense is bad enough, how is he going to develop a young QB when he's never done that and he's been a head coach for a decade?

well hes had good defenses in the past, last year it was abysmal

one thing about jameis, i dont think he needs developing, hes ready to go from day 1

mariotta needs a good offensive mind around him

I know that.Jameis is quite the personality,Lovie put up with Cutler all those years. The year the Bears went to the Super Bowl,Rex Grossman drama where everyone told him to bench Grossman,Lovie ignored media and stuck with Rex.Yes his track record is bad with QB's but that was Chicago, this is Tampa.Jameis has a chance to be special. Now I don't know about Bucs defense. What else coach would be good for Jameis?Yall think Whisenhunt would develop him :heh:

I mean Lovie didn't exactly ace his QB comp last yr between McCown & Glennon, granted Jameis is the best QB talent he's ever had, but I've never seen growth from a young QB under Lovie. That would concern me if I was a Bucs fan

I agree.Last year I don't know what he saw in McCown and Glennon.Jameis may be a rookie but he threw mind and tools of a veteran. He could be Rothlisberger in his rookie season if defense helps him.Lovie knows he has 1 year, that's why he is goin with Jameis. If they can get to 6 wins it will be a good season.Remember the o coordinator had health issues last year.Bucks are gonna be a team to watch.

I believe that he says good because he will support him. He supported Rex I am Satan Grossman (even though I believe that had more to do with the bears organization forcing Movie to play him). Lovie will not throw his QB under the bus.

Plus he is a black head coach. IMO black head coach head coaches are best for black QBs.

But the QB coach and OC in Tampa are pretty good.

What brought you to this conclusion?

most black QB's never play for a black HC again after they graduate HS.
