James brown is one of my favorite artists of all time. Everyone that knows me knows this, but this man was pure evil hahaha. The thing he'd do to his musicians, I wouldn't even do that to my worst enemies. Replacing them and leaving them in other countries stranded, not paying them, fining them for missed notes on stage (on top of not paying them and underpaying them), and not giving them writing credits. Mike Tyson said when he was in prison, James Brown visited him and offered him a contract for whenever he got out. Tyson said James' contract was far worse than anything Don King had ever did
