Tell me what do they do with him afterwards then. You do realise that funny looking comedy character face with the heartwarming story will get stale pretty fast and then what? How many likeable babyfaces fighting against odds have gotten over long term recently? Daniel Bryan and Ziggler and Ryder are the only ones because the company was legitimately holding them down and people knew it. Do you suddenly book him to be an actual threat to other wrestlers on the roster. Do you suddenly book him to win titles?

LOOOL so you get him and put him in matches when matches and in ring work isnt the reason why is he is over, and then you make him cruiserweight champion when he cannot work anything like or do the sort of moves and spots that the crusierwieghts do and in the process take the cruiserweight title and put it on a man who is the complete opposite of what the cruiserweight division is meant to be, ignoring the whole fact that the reason the cruiserweight division got over during the CWC in the first place was because of the ring work and spots of the cruiserweights, and not only that but that said guy is a comedy character in the eyes of the fans and you therefore make the cruiserweight division into a joke. That makes perfect sense.

Yes they have been rubbish on TV because of the time limits on their work, rushed spots and no back story. Did you watch the CWC? and the matches during the CWC when they got time and freedom to showcase what they could do. That is why they got over, they were over during the CWC, and no one will give a damn about the cruiser weights for any other reason but that. A comedy character holding that belt will get absolutely no one in that division over and it wont get that title over either.
