I guess Shibata getting his rematch is understandable but I was hoping him losing the NEVER title meant he could move on to chasing one of the two main event titles.
If those young lion shows ever become a regular thing I think Nagata should defend the title on those to attract more attention to the young guys....and finally give us a NEVER champ that's under 30 like it was first intended.

BOSJ is an annual Junior tournament held in New Japan.
Super J Cup is an interpromotional Junior tourney held very rarely by the wrestler/promotion that has the resources to do it.
Oh okay, so NJPW may not be in charge of the Super J Cup tournament?

New Japan is promoting this year's Cup. They did in 94' and 09' before that (though they were more of a Liger promotion sponsored by NJPW). WAR and Osaka Pro promoted the other two versions.
