Kidd been the coach on the floor for damn near 20 years, had more to do with them Nets teams than his own coach. This is a risky move but I see no prob with this. The NBA needs new blood in the coaching ranks, Patrick Ewing will get his chance soon, Brian Shaw as well.

Came in to say basically the same thing, point guards play an entirely different role out on the floor than a center does. Still tough to picture Kidd as a coach I wish him the best though, the players should respect him and relate to him fairly well.
