okay. i'd just like you to cite some examples. because i can't count stuff i don't agree with as shyt journalism and flimsy integrity.

Don't feign ignorance. Do your own homework and bring up reasons why he's such a bastion of stand up journalism to you.

No. Just because I don't think he's a bad journalist and completely lacks integrity, it doesn't mean I think he's a bastion of stand up journalism. There isn't ONE sports journalist that I read with regularity that I would characterize as THAT, my dude.

I'm not feigning ignorance. I asked you to back your assertion that he's a "bad" journalist and lacks integrity. I can agree that he undermines himself going for shock, as with that Serena column, but my favorite journalist (and writer) of all time, Ralph Wiley, did that A LOT.

I gave a quick example of a column where Whitlock backed his argument with data and historical context, just to kill the idea that he NEVER does it and, as I should've guessed, it's been poo-pooed because nyggas have dug in their heels and they just wanna be "right". You've made up your mind about dude and that's completely fine with me, but don't accuse me of feigning ignorance because you can't back what you're saying with specific examples. If he so infrequently fulfills the basic requirements of journalism, then you should be able to dump a rack of links on this board to prove it.

Most nyggas who always crying about that dude ain't have NO OPINION of him until about 2007, when he wrote about Imus and that Vegas AS Game. But, dude ain't just appear outta thin air, "c00nin". He was mentored by Wiley. He's won journalism and writing awards. It's a lotta muhfukkas on ESPN and all these other sports sites with NO FUKKIN REAL CREDENTIALS. He's earned a place in the game. Again, I don't agree with him on LOTS of shyt, but to pretend he ain't what his actual ENTIRE record reflects, rather than a few columns where I strongly disagreed with his premise or his tact, is ridiculous.
