Im not saying you dont have to have great conditioning, we are speaking relatively in regard to other positions, which is what he spoke in contrast to, other positions. Theres no position sans Placeholder or Kicker that requires as little cardio as QB. EVERY OTHER position requires is to be good at what you do. If you're 2nd or 3rd from the bottom on a list, you dont DEMAND that requirement in relation to other positions that you wouldnt make the league if you didnt have it. What he is saying is that he knows what level of conditioning it takes to be a pocket passer and he is not concerned with his conditioning for that very reason. Doesnt mean you dont need it, doesnt mean he doesnt have it, doesnt mean he couldnt be better conditioned. It means because its QB and not RB, WR, DB, Pass Rusher...he'll be alright, conditioning wise. We've never seen ANY QBs take the punishment that Cam and Jay have and Im sure thats why he made the comment.
No amount of physical exertion a QB does is more than any other position on the field in any hurry up situation unless youre a scrambler. Its the absolute lowest amount. I dont even know why you brought that up breh
