YeahToo little, too late in my opinion (as is preached all over the web). Technologically it's a powerhouse, but it looks like one of those generic "sports cars" you see in the background of GTA. It just doesn't pop for me. I have to see it in person, I guess. This is the same chick that designed the ZDX, which flopped hard...
Exactly! Competition in this price range is gonna be the biggest problem this car will face...the 570s is only ~$20k more with waaaayyy more prestige. This car is overpriced. Only the video game programmer nerds with history with Honda Civics and flush with cash will pop for one of these at that price. Lamborghini Huracan? Audi R8? Porsche 911 GT3? All priced in the same ballpark...YeahThe verdict is still out on it for me until i see it in person. For the money i'd rather get a 570S

I've never understood this type of reasoning. If one is considering resale value then perhaps yes, but aside from that its the logic of a follower.
What does the 'prestige' bring? Does it make the car go faster? More efficient? Look better? Improve reliability?
Yeah, I can't get with any of this at all.Prestige is but one of the founding elements of a supercar. Prestige may not make a car go faster or make it more efficient, but it is an essential element if one is to drop nearly $200k into a car. The original NSX was a great car....was it held in as high esteem as a Porsche or Ferrari? I doubt it. The Corvette is a better example...arguably its a great car that can perform and even out perform many of the exotics...but would you really look at it in the same regard as the exotic cars it competes against? Most true car nuts aspire to own a Ferrari or Lamborghini because they have that "thing" about them...they have soul, if you will. The NSX, not so much. It looks fairly generic in my opinion....
Edit: basically boils down to this car being overpriced considering the company it has to keep. If it were priced at $70-90k, It would be a better buy...
There's really not much to say. You're talking about 'esteem', 'regard', 'thing', 'soul' which are all nebulous concepts which don't mean anything to me.Nice retort, bruh...![]()

Corvette's are typically made with cheaper materials so that factors into the quality of the vehicle. I still recall some of the panels on the vehicle flex when slight pressure is applied to them. So yeah, there's that.
Your opinion sounds mostly emotionalI only care about practical and quantifiable aspects of a vehicle, with the only thing subjective being looks.
