He’s right that players sound like spoiled brats but it is a sensitive situation the regular Person isn’t being told to go play a contact sport in a epicenter for Covid

But they have the ability to opt out and not play and they’ll still get paid, I believe. Correct me if I’m wrong. The average person doesn’t have the luxury. It actually makes it even more tone deaf when you think about it.

Nicca...a regular person is in many instances told to stand shoulder to shoulder with a co-worker in a warehouse/plant/meat packing facility for $12 an hour.

Putting your health and possibly your life on the line to live paycheck to paycheck is as serious as shyt gets.

He’s right; they’re tone deaf.

I see the younger teams having a lot of success, at least early on. Memphis, Philly (maybe not so much, they have spoiled babies like Ben Simmons), Pelicans, and Celtics can all make a run due to them having younger guys who are used to this kind of lifestyle from AAU and college.

The Raptors can also have a lot of success due to their hard hat/lunch pail group of guys.

Lakers can end up losing in the first round because they have guys who can’t wait to get back home :mjlit:

Players sboukd complain all they like and demand what they are accustimed to.

They arent aoldiers, they arent average workers, they can demand and shkuld demand more if they think they arent getting their just treatment

I hope none of them let the media or chumps like jay williams attempt to shame them

:hhh: Regular people are being told to go work and make peanuts with no PPE from their company. They have no choice. NBA players do have a choice.

The people complaining about players being ungrateful are making it a bigger deal than most of the players themselves. There have only been few players out of hundreds that have "complained" about the conditions. People need to quit being dramatic and just be thankful that these guys are playing and giving us something to watch.
