if was sooo much better than kingdom come it could have been a false classic...but it was post retirement jigga finally getting his footing back and it held up over time.

this is a classic in every sense of the word

I don't know about 'classic' but there's definitely no album in hip hop like it IMO, aside from Reasonable Doubt. It's a hard album but at the same time lots of smooth lounge stuff and soulful shyt. Could play some of these joints at a wedding or graduation and they wouldn't be out of place
