There is NO WAY Jay doesn't come back spitting fire on his next joint. Even the Jay-Z stans gotta agree, Esco's newest joint pushes him ahead of Jay in terms of best rapper alive.

I had a convo with a Jay stan today and we agreed that Jay is Micheal (commercially successsful, big for the culture) Nas is Prince (more talented, more respected for his craft, produced better work)
Nas = Prince, John Lennon, Billy Corgan, Bret Hart
Jay = MJ, Paul McCartney, Kurt Cobain, Shawn Michaels

Nothing wrong with being one or the other.

Both Jay and Nas stans are horrible, but Jay stans take the cake, Nas stans just act like everything he does is 10/10, Jay stans look at him like he's God or something, Jay can spit in their moms face and they'll still find someway to defend Jay's actions

and by the way, they're both in my top 3

Camelstanis actually call him "Hov." :scusthov:

Jay-z = Michael Jackson
Nas = Prince

It's not perfect but I think that's the best one. i love michael, king of pop music no question, but Prince is one of the most talented people in musical history.

More like Jay-Z is Goku

Nas is Gohan

We all know Nas is the stronger one out of the two. Had more potential. But just didnt fully live up to it. Kinda like how Gohan fell off after The Cell Saga (It Was Written) :to:

:what:y'all not about to get away with that....MJ put out probaly the greatest album of all time and didn't do much after that musically...Jay is consistently consistent..

Jay=R Kelly
Nas=Aaron Hall

Nas came out the gate strong,inspired many emcees like jay lyrically....Jay went on to have great success AND be consistent musically....making songs with some of the greatest artist of our time....had a brief speed bump with the battle where sum idiots thought he wuz through(r kelly had the sex tape and trial)...instead he came back bigger and stronger on these doubtin azz nikkas:russ: still consistent.

Nas an amazing talent came out and wuz destined to take over hiphop after the deaths of Pac and Biggie...but not so fast here comes R Kelly....Aaron Hall/Nas has still dropped sum classic material,probaly doesn't get the props he deserves in the media partially of his own fault....but is still one of the greats to come out of the 90's and can still outsing alotta nikkas when he tryin.

Pac=Marvin Gaye though:umad:

An album from the two would be....EPIC.

Lets face it, Jay and Nas bring the best out of each other. Jay was spazzing on Success and Nas verse was just as hot. So lyrically there would be no worries. I think Nas style on Life Is Good would be a better approach than his style on (SD,HHID,Untitled).

The production would be 5/5 easy. Why? Cause every producer who ever worked with them would be trying to cook up their best material to make history. Yup history. Imagine a dedicated Just Blaze? Or a thirsty Dr. Dre trying to be one of the lucky producers who would make the cut. It would be epic.

As far as the pics, them shyts always put a smile on my face. My favorite rappers lol. But I really hope Jay is inspired by this and tries to make top notch shyt for his next solo cause lyrically BP3 was one of his worse efforts easily.

No edit, I typed it before you typed yours.

If we are going by a correct musical timeline then 2Pac is more of The Gap Band which inspired Aaron(Nas) that later influenced R. Kelly(Jay).

I would even Say Pac is MJ, Nas is Prince and Jay is El Debarge.

If we are going by greats Pac is Marvin, Nas is All Green.
