That "beef" is probably one of the most overstated things online...

Especially as Pac's songs about Jay, nor Jay's responses to the disses, didn't come out until after Pac had passed. It wasn't even on most peoples' radar at the time that Pac had an issue with Jay, or with Nas for that matter. Wasn't like Pac had a gang of songs floating around calling nikkas out and nobody said shyt.

Here are the songs that were out in '96 when Pac was alive:

"Hit 'em Up".

Which means only B.I.G., Mobb Deep, Junior M.A.F.I.A., and Chino XL were up for discussion. All them other shyts? Late-96.

If this is the case Tupac would've heard about this and called him up to get him on One Nation . . had he not did that track with Biggie.

Tupac was sampled by Jay-Z

Jay-Z - Understand Me [Demo] - YouTube

This was pre-resonable doubt era cause it was produced by Clark Kent who was working with Bad Boy. Song is fire, love the Pac sample also. Reasonable Double/Vol .1/2 are my Favorite Jay era.

Jay during the beef

*silence*
I'm too young to recall every event of the beef.. But didn't the first mention from Pac about Jay come out when he was dead?

Under Pressure

Jay Z - Under Pressure *Rare* - YouTube

Every real Jay fan has that Before The Roc tape

U hear the change on the tape... he went from Jiggidy Jigga to Escobar Lite in the matter of 80 minutes
Never understood this Jay is known for having 1000 flows, I don't get why people point out that he switched up his flow from 92 to 96, when he switched up from 92 to 93 to 94 to ..... to 98 to 99 to 2001 and on.
