This is cap.

And there’s more where this came from.

There are the exceptions

But if you look at the biggest black r&b/pop female acts Mariah, Janet, Toni Braxton, Mary J, Rihanna, etc in their prime along with Bey they really don't collab with other female singers black or otherwise

And I would argue Bey isn't the biggest offender ...she worked with several black female singers on her last album ...Tems was featured on the album before that

Even going back to when Aretha, Dionne Warwick and Diana Ross were in their prime it was rare

Rappers is another story

This isnt her prime… Bey opened up during her self titled album era onward as the industry had changed - ratchet was in and that southern belle, curated pop diva image she had in the 00’s wouldn’t work. But I consider DIL - 4 her prime, and like @spliz said - you could hardly even catch her associating with her peers at industry events during that time, let alone collaborating with any of them.

Point still stands ....most the biggest female pop/r&b acts while in their prime are offenders...

Think the collab with Alicia tho dropped somewhere around the same time as 4...it was released but the video wasn't

I see Bey showed up to one of her shows to perform it

Put it like this. Look at Whitney for example. Whitney was literally around everyone. Reached out and showed love to damn near all her peers and even the younger female black singers coming up such as Brandy, Aaliyah and the list goes on. Patti and all of them were actually friends in real life and would be around each other. shyt look at how Stephanie Mills supported Chaka when she was embarrassing herself on stage at Verzuz. It doesn't have to be a collab. Bey barely ACKNOWLEDGED any of her peers. And with female singers coming up she won't unless they are part of Roc Nation or some shyt or she has something to do with them business wise. shyt. Bey got beef with female songwriters in the industry as well but that's a whole different argument. I'm not even saying this to shyt on her cause I feel like she unfairly gets dragged into shyt as well. But this sentiment ain't come out of nowhere my guy. And like I said. Bey did weird shyt like shyt on Janet and her family for no reason in magazines.
