Even though they do not look alike to me. That's a sharp point an ancestry trace off your DNA or something.

But how will he get the distant relatives info though? All of Jay-Z's family eat well and they all love him dearly not one of them would be willing to give this kid any info. I admit I do not know how these DNA ancestry traces work but I am sure they have to make contacts with people to find out this and that.

I think Jay is innocent, this is a money grab he would have done his own research but there are those malicious tales of that woman Cathy White and Claudia Jordan foul play. He is innocent of this though

they find serial killers and solve decades old crime by just linking dna o a distant family member and just build out a family tree based on the year the crime was committed, the sex, likely age of the perpetrator at the time and where they lived. a lot of killers on borrowed time cause a relative they didn't even know existed shared their DNA with these ancestry websites which offer access to law enforcement or LEO already has dna from a relative that's been jailed.
