Shout out to this YouTube page that Viacom tried to shut down. Dude had a lot of dope old videos but the page was shut down but he came back with the full video. Yes it’s been two months since the upload but I’m sure a lot of ppl are unaware.

This performance is what officially started the beef between the two goats and the debut of takeover, but the finally see it live and see the reaction is beyond crazy and jigga started the show with it too lol. You gotta see it.

Jigga at this time, I would say was peak jigga. This man brought out MJ lol and had the crowd going wild.

Funny thing when Jay finally saw the concert he said “ jigga you something else “ Lmaoo wth but yeah man please do yourself a favor and watch this dope ass performance especially if you’re a lover of hip hop before it’s taken down.

now only if we had a video of jigga getting chased thru his building :ahh:

My question is why didn’t hot97 have a official release? Clearly there’s a camera crew there recording the whole thing and for years we heard about the performance with no video? Kinda weird.

I’m hoping someone got the I Delcare War concert as well because that was also a historic night. The video that’s out there is so blurry it looks like a ps1 game :mjlol:.

No problem. The only two songs that was cut was hard knock and get your hands up… I was feeling some type of way but shyt the video damn near 20 years old lol idk if dude cut it on purpose or what happened. But the crowd was getting hype for them shyts.

they had an “On-Demand” service with sideview footage and interview afterwards.. one theory is they were waiting to let it build in value before officially releasing it.. possibly if Jay passed

I wonder what other unreleased/artifacts do people have copies of but aren’t public yet. I know Nas’ movie in 2000 is unreleased..

I might bump my lost media thread

Crazy how different summer jam was back in those days

Looks like he had about an hour set

Today the headliner at summer jam gets like 14 minutes :mjlol:

Idk man… I feel like the time to release it would of been long time ago, maybe even part of a release with blueprint or another one of his cds.

That channel had crazy amount of dope hard to find or unreleased shyt but it got shut down, so he’s slowly uploaded stuff back.

Funny when that interview was posted without context ppl swore that’s when Jay Z wanted to be done with the roc lol

That's because these lame ass motherfukkers don't have catalogues, they have singles and songs that are crafted for the sole purpose of having 15 seconds of it condensed into a viable tiktok dance track

Nas and Jay could (and have literally) headline concerts for the sole purpose of playing their b-sides and unreleased tracks. That is simply not a reality now.
