Where is this coming from?...Do you guys know that these other "hot'' artist ask him to do things? and if the other main stars do the same but no one says a thing?

1. Snoop making a whole movie and soundtrack with wiz
2. Nas doing a song with cocaine 80's and tyga and working with asap rocky and being a male model for nikki in her vid?
3. E-40 and Bun-B and Busta on everyone mixtape and album?....once again whats the real problem with Jay?

he's done.....its like watching jordan with the wizards at this point...he will show flashes of greatness but the level of skill and passion for the music aint there no more.......i can say this about a few artists like 50 is another example its not just jay

This does not make any sense it like you want to hold jay to some standrad
that most others are not being held to. Its like he cant move on and get older or try to do something other than the old jay. People say rap what you live this is his life right?

im not holding him to a standard and i also gave 50 as another example. jay still has gas in the tank biut you can clearly see wether it be outside business or lifestyle change he is clearly not as passionate musically or skilled lyrically as he once was. i dont expect anybody to keep that level up forever im just pointing it out

No offense but comments like what I bolded above prove to me what a stan is. Why not just listen to these "flashes of greatness" and disregard whatever you don't like? People are too concerned with his legacy in my opinion, I just listen to the music I like. If one day Jay puts out an album that is completely garbage except for one song, then at least I have that one song, it's not that serious.

I dont believe it has anything to do with his passion. Getting married, going on tour constantly, owning a basketball team, a basketball stadium and having a daughter would slow down anyone im sure. Jay has been doing great as far as remaining consistent considering all the things that he has to juggle in his regular life. I think lyrically he is still as good, although u could tell on a couple of verses on watch the throne that he is just in auto pilot mode now, but his flow is still as sharp as ever.
