Jay-Z takes shot at veteran MLB agent Scott Boras on new album - ESPN New York

Jay-Z took one client from Scott Boras. Now he's taking it to Boras in song.

The veteran Brooklyn rapper, who recently began work as a sports agent with his Roc Nation Sports, took a shot at Boras in a song off his upcoming new album.

"Scott Boras, you over baby. Robinson Cano, you coming with me," Jay-Z raps on the song "Crown," ESPN.com's Darren Rovell has confirmed.

Jay-Z recently signed away the New York Yankees' slugger from Boras ahead of the second baseman's impending free agency.

The song is off Jay-Z's "Magna Carta Holy Grail" album, which will be released Thursday.

Roc Nation Sports also represents Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Geno Smith of the New York Jets and Skylar Diggins of the WNBA's Tulsa Shock.

Jay-Z is certified to represent MLB and NBA players.
