I hear all that but I just don’t like the notion of presuming what people have going on and making value judgments because of that. You don’t know what Jay has supported. It’s not like Jay didn’t go to dude’s wedding or other things he has going on. I’ve missed plenty of shyt that I’ve been invited to and there was no malice involved. Sending his family was his way of making sure the Carters were represented there. It’s like when everyone from your family can’t make a funeral but someone goes to show that your family is represented. Your entire take on it just didn’t make sense to me. It read like someone projecting how they wanted a story to go onto someone else and then reacting negatively when it didn’t. These aren’t action figures or TV characters. They are real people. And to bring Nas into it…like there’s no reason for any discussion about a Jay and Bleek relationship to intersect about how you feel about Jay and Nas as emcees. It’s like people won’t let that shyt go and we’re not kids anymore. Nas and Jay are my two favorite rappers, I rarely think of one when I think of the other. Growth is judging people on their own merit and not as a form of comparison. Plenty of people have been mad at Nas and you know that. TheColi has to let this ish go. I was literally in middle school when Jay and Nas beefed.
