We believe in a free market,not the illusion of a free market. Which is basically what we have today. We also believe there is a time and place where the market shouldnt be free,and where intervention occurs. Which is what we also already have today.
The market isnt free when you allow for monopolies to occur that hurt so many other businesses. I consider this business supression. When govt job is to create a healthy environment for a FREE MARKET to occur .Im fine with an Amazon existing. But they shouldve been stopped at a certain point. I believe Amazon hurts small businesses and local brick and mortar businesses. Which is not good for economic growth overall imo. They will tell you Amazon helps small businesses. Sure through strong-arming there way to be the middle man. But the internet itself provided the same opportunity without AMZN to expand your reach.
At s certain point companies should be forced to split certain segments. Or the govt takes over a portion of the business.
Also people should not be allowed to be worth over a certain ammount of billions. There should be some sort of cap(undecided). That money needs to reinvested into your employees in different forms. Pay some hospital bills,pay some mortages,college tuitions,fix some cars,remodel homes etc
