Jeff Chery recently released this powerful single off his upcoming Jetset Vagabond mixtape. Look out for the mixtape and a video for this single to drop on February 19th.

The soulful, emotion-filled and introspective song was inspired by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which left 20 children and six adult staff members dead. Opting for a no-hook format, Jeff’s verses are instead interspersed with clips of speeches by Huey P. Newton, co-founder of the Black Panthers and one of the most powerful voices of the not only the civil rights movement but of the last generation.
