Kinda hard to blame Def Jam in all honesty. He was signed under a different regime (the people who run Def Jam now probably don't value him the way the ones before him did). Also, by many accounts he's lazy as shyt, so in a DIY era he needed to step up his visibility and he's only figuring this out when it's too late.

I'm sure someone will say "he should go independent." Well how does going independent help with the problems he's talking about?

Juelz about to outlast another artist on Def Jam
He still under contract there? :dwillhuh:

When u hear his music all over, you'd expect him to have a chris brown-like posting rate on ig

Nothing wrong with Def Jam. They've got a new roster and are investing in who is profitable in 2015 vs who isn't.

Everyone who was hot 10-12 years ago is being phased out. Their new urban artist lineup looks a lot younger and lighter. It's a new day in the music business.

it's almost as if artists are under the impression that record companies have the artists best interest in mind when signing them.

:lupe:
If the artist sells, they make money. They're fukking up their selves with how they're doing business. Sinking fast

Jeremih just had 2 hit singles, don't even think he's 30 yet

Logic has recently said Def Jam doesn't do shyt to help him

August Alsina is complaining they leaked his album
