Most of the famous asians that aren’t half black aren’t quite as relevant as they used to be. Others were never household names to begin with. Like harold and kumar, dude from hangover, etc

I never heard this distinction that you had to be born in USA to be asian-american. So long as they a naturalized american then they count. Lou Diamond Phillips grew up in Texas with an American dad, of course he was an american/asian-american, not just "asian".
