Brehs talk Jeremy Lin with me. Now after a few day's to digest this I am starting to think that the Knicks should bring Lin back. He will be a huge cap hit for them but they are already in the luxury. But the thing is he is a 14-15 million dollar expiring contract.

I do think he will be a bust but it's not like the Knicks have cap flex. And he is popular will sale some tickets. If I'm Dolan I mark up prices. :piss:

:ohlawd: I hear you but look at what he brings in marketing wise.

Losing line will lose them 50 million in marketing. It doesn't matter they havve to share with the league I didn't know that. delete this thread enjoy H-Town young nikka.

First look up the "Stretch Provision"

Then think about the non-cap-hit the Knicks would take if they traded him before that egregious third year.

Then think about potentially letting him walk only to watch him blossom into a better PG than any the Knicks currently have.

No reason not to match

It comes down to what can he make them off the court. He has to be profitable for them to keep him. Is he that profitable.

Kinicks ain't gonna win anyway. Might as well sign Lin and sell some tickets. And if he doesn't pan out, amnesty him in the 3rd year of the deal. If he does, give Amare the boot.

But Woody and Melo on that "No Chink" ish. :pachaha:

That's assuming he plays at a high level which most people doubt, before he got injured he was already getting locked down and exposed.

Knicks gotta bring him back, after all the bad contracts fans set back and watch the franchise do, to not bring back clearly their most popular player, isn't sitting well at all, with New Yorkers, me being one I could attest to that.

Knicks might as well take this on the chin with all the money they will make off Linsanity with their Arena right near the Asians in China town , this is truly a no lose situation, and hey Lin might turn out to be truly great, he showed flashes of greatness last year, it's one them to coach him up and harness that potential.

Knicks is over thinking things like usual, and I have a feeling they are gonna fukk this one up, what the hell did they expect, for him to not take the biggest offer available to him.

Bring him back, and if thing don't work out, they still have the deepest team in the league, with plenty of pieces to dangle for trades

The Knicks have already wasted too much time, money and years with “hype.” First with Sprewell and then "The Hundred Million Dollar Joke" Allen Houston. The era of “hype” for the Knicks in 2012 just for the sake of selling tickets is the last thing New York needs.

Yeah they used it on Billups last year. That's the thing I wasn't sure about. How often can you use it? Because it will have been 4 years between. I'm not sure about how that works though. Enlighten me, breh.

you can use the amnesty 1 time. Point blank.
