This. How he try to downplay Dallas/Babyface/Manuel like people don't know who these dudes are? shyt, you know how much writing Dallas did for TLC? It was damn near like what Hurby was doing for Salt N Pepa. Hurby literally ghostwrote all their shyt and gave them a look to run with back in the mid 80s

to not give full props to people such as babyface, dallas, manuel, chucky thompson etc is just uncalled for. that album wouldn't be what it was if it wasn't for them
and yeah, dallas played a very important role. people overlook the talent he bought to the table; similarly to what you said bout hurby and salt n pepa
same situation with devante and jodeci. devante is probably still eatin' alright (so long as he ain't spent the money on a whole lot of unnecessary stuff) because of his writin' and producin' for jodeci along with a few other artists. that's where the money is at
