It’s crazy seeing players like Demeco Ryans, Jared Mayo and Antonio pierce become coaches.
Like we were just playing Madden and watching them ball out in the NFL as players and now they are coaches.

I'm happy to see a black coach getting a HC job. There was always talk about Mayo being a head coach one day. It's obvious this has been in place for sometime. IMO.I thought they should have went with someone outside the organization. Someone fresh and not tied to Beli. And like it or not, Mayo is a Belichick disciple. And we all know how they turn out. Hopefully with the GM role they hire from outside. Cause they really need to hit on their draft picks.
They more than likely already had the succession plan in place even before they knew he'd be let go, so it would have been bad optics to steer away from it.
