BLM is primarily a social media phenomemom.

Theyve yet to develop into an organization that speaks to the mainstream. Their lack of structure allows the media to errantly speak for them, which they often get wrong.

This. Older Blacks don't be on Twitter like that or get their news from social media and message boards. It's very easy to say all lives matter when you don't realize it's code for fukk Black people as a collective. Most of them don't even realize when cacs say Black lives matter, they aren't talking about the group, they are talking about all Black people

The great irony of this thread is that the people who are acting like it's implausible that Jerry didn't realize the context of ALM as a slogan pitted against BLM are the same ones who ran in here beating their chests about how Jerry had to have known that BLM exists when he never claimed that he didn't know it existed.

How do you fail to comprehend what's being said in a 100 character tweet (with clarification provided a few posts down in the thread) and then claim there's no way Jerry missed the connotation of the phrase "All Lives Matter"

Dudes talking about he should've waded through Google search results when they couldn't even wade through a few posts

The reading comprehension of this board is embarrassing, I can't even imagine how some of these dudes fared in school with the lack of critical thinking that we see on here on the daily with basic ass situations.
