For some reason big events and jordans are measurements of a good parent in our culture.

My best's Baby Mom, who has been in and out of their daughter's life wanted to throw this big $5,000, 18th bday party for the daughter and my boy was like "nah." Because he's footing her college and they dont have it like that. BM has gotten the daughter to cut her dad bcuz of it.
