What always bothers me about these "apologies" is the fact that they have to type at length about it. Just say "I made very vulgar statements about whomever, I apologize to everyone I offended and take full responsibility for my actions". Some people will still be skeptical but at least it would be sincere.

I'm a huge believer in people can change but She was mid 20's saying those things, everyone grows/evolves differently surebut by then there were certain phrases etc that I wasn't comfortable flinging around "playfully" or not. She tried to steer into it which is a sign of telling the truth but going over the top with the "I love everybody" stuff is what makes it feel like I'm sorry I got caught instead of I'm sorry I said it


I try not to judge people solely off it but what people tweet/retweet/like gives good insight as to who you're dealing with.

Yea if someone truly changed they aren't going to try to shift the blame onto the people that took offense, if you have to take shots at people that were critical of you then its not really much of an apology
