Seems nikkas don’t learn. Ain’t NOBODY music that good to where I’ma sit up on this board and defend so vehemently as some of y’all. Despite what they display in their music, you never know what any of these nikkas do behind closed doors in their personal lives and outside da booth. I would never. None of this shyt personally affects me. And it shouldn’t for any of y’all either.

Not to commit the cardinal sin of pocket watching but I'm curious about how this works financially for Currensy.

Is he pressing each projecting vinyl and it's the collectors that are sustaining his lifestyle?

Is it better to oversaturate the market and release a bunch of average or ok albums with one or two good songs on it or to release one critically acclaimed album.

Currensy is in his mid 40s and people talk about him like he’s a make a wish kid. That’s peculiar to me
No one is saying Spitta is perfect or above criticism. His age is irrelevant. We haven’t seen anyone from the industry say anything negative about him or beef with him.

It just so happens that Freddie Gibbs (the man who has beef with half the industry) is throwing shots over a seven year old album. Gibbs is clearly the problem but a lot of y’all don’t want to admit it because you like his music.

Alc could easily end up being collateral damage standing next to this weird nikka :francis:
ALC is one of my favourite producers, like top 5 shyt but he’s the biggest hoe in this.

Like I said in the discussion thread, ALC has been on record saying he owes a debt to Curren$y for introducing him to a scene he didn’t know existed, which he’s been able to tap into heavily and eat independently in a big way. Got 4 projects with Curren$y, all those projects he’s worked on with Griselda….he should’ve told Gibbs to chill. What I hate about him is that he’s one of the most legendary producers that’s still really active in the game but he acts like he’s got no agency on what the rappers put on the track, like they’re straight hoeing him in the studio lool

It's all about track record. There's plenty nikkas u prolly know in real life that u don't know behind closed doors but when u see a pattern of behavior it's easier to use discernment. Me personally I feel even if Freddie was right in feeling a way back then he's still moving like a bytch. And that's out in the open. No need to know anything behind closed doors to be able to analyze public behavior.
