I noticed Russians/Eastern Euro's aren't fans of darker liquors. I'd jokingly chalk it up to but there's a legit reason, can't recall it atm

its not . the reason for avoiding darker liquors is because darker liquors give you worse hangovers, due to the congeners which are mostly present in bourbon, dark rum, whiskey and red wine. Lighter liquors such as vodka will not fukk you up the next day as much as whiskey will.

I was out of town for work in Chicago a few years ago.

Did not realize you could buy liquor at CVS, Walgreens etc.

Bought some Jim Bean but barely had any. Last night in town, I ordered some Lou Malnatis and decided to drink damn near a fifth of JB.

The pizza must have absorbed that shyt....no hangover but I was fukkin trashed. Me and a few coworkers were playing Fight Night on PS3....shyt was hilarious. Everyone was trashed, yelling out of windows and shyt at people on Michigan Ave. Almost headed to the bean thing at Pritzker Pavillion (?) but none of us could walk straight enough....no idea what they drank though
