NEW ERA
I think Jim Caldwell, Ravens OC, deserves the most credit for the Ravens' offensive production lately and Flacco finally flourishing into what looks like a pretty damn good QB. I know I dissed him when Cam Cameron was fired but that's only because I wasn't familiar with him as a playcaller. Since he's filled in though, the Ravens offense has been more dangerous.

Caldwell's playcalling as well as packages were crucial in every playoff win. Getting Anquan Boldin, a guy that only had 4 receiving touchdowns over the entire season, involved by moving him into the slot, creating 1v1's that 'Quan will win 9/10 times, etc etc etc. 'Quan had 4 touchdowns in this playoff run alone.

Its clear they don't really care to run Ray Rice all that often either. I don't think Ray will be a 1400yard rusher again. Especially with that Benard Pierce spelling him and running well. I think this lack of Rice is more telling of the league we are in now rather than just a Rice negligence.

I pretty much said to my girl that the only reason why I want the Ravens is that I believe Jim Caldwell was thrown waaaaaaaay under the bus in Indy.

Somebody'll be fooled into giving him a HC job. Wouldn't wish that on anyone though.

That's all I said during the game. He called a masterful Super Bowl and playoff run.
